You have chandelier earrings.

Oh, sweetheart, please don't confess that you haven't gotten around to buying them yet. They've been hot for a while, and it seems that with every passing month their popularity booms. And where exactly is your pair, brushing your shoulders and framing your face?!

At the Museum of Modern Art's "Goddess" exhibit, Nicole Kidman stunned on-lookers when she showed up wearing a pair a Bvlgari tassels, each earring sporting nine 6.5" long, diamond-encrusted strands. She's not the only celebrity with elegant taste. Ashley Judd and Rebecca Romijn-Stamos have been strutting around with dusters sweeping to and fro across their bare shoulders.

Tassels? Shoulder dusters? Chandeliers? All these different earring types have one thing in common—they have incredible length and high style.

Chandeliers are the most popular, with drops that flare out at the sides. They can be of any length, but the more daring, more embellished chandeliers are sure-fire ways to be the hit of the party this holiday season.

Tassels look like the ones you might see on your curtains. They're collected at the top, usually under a bead, and fall straight down. They can be adorned with jewels or simply be metal links.

Shoulder dusters tend to be the longest and are usually the simplest. They can have multiple strands or just one, so long as they hit the shoulder and keep on going! Some flaunt a jewel at the end, adding pizzazz and sophistication.

Don't sweat it if your next formal party is months away. Although these earrings go great with gowns and classic dresses, they are by no means married to formality. Throw on a pair with jeans and a t-shirt and you've gone from frumpy to dynamic. As In Style magazine described them in their October issue, "A pair of these gems worn with an updo delivers glamour in a minute."

The easiest way to stay on top of style is by accessorizing. Knowing it's so simple to be a fashion diva can be your little secret—let others envy your striking flair for the fantastic.
