
Defining Pearl and Other Neckace Lengths
The chart below shows
common names for pearl necklace lengths. Crossing over
into
bead strands and chain designs, the terms sometimes have
a different meaning. For example, a 22" tied chain
design is called a lasso, and a 36" to 48" tied
design is called a lariat (not the same as the 48" or
longer strand of pearls also called a lariat).
